How to Create an API Access Key for a New Integration?
To create an API access key in the CertifyHub system, after logging into your account, select “Settings & Plans” in the left navigation panel. Then go to the “Developers & Integrations” tab, where you’ll find the “API Access Keys” option.
To add a new key, click the purple “Add” button on the right side. A dialog box will appear where you need to enter a name for the new key. Remember to choose a name that reflects the integration’s purpose – for example, “Zapier Integration.”
After entering the name, click the “Create” button. The system will generate a one-time access key that will be displayed on the screen. Make sure to copy it and save it in a secure location, as once you close this window, there will be no way to view the key again.
Note that the access key grants permissions to perform operations within your organization, such as creating, editing, or deleting programs and certificates. That’s why it’s so important to store it in a secure place and only share it with trusted individuals.
If you want to learn more about API integration possibilities, check out the available API documentation, which you can find in the same “Developers & Integrations” tab. This will help you fully utilize the process automation capabilities in CertifyHub.
