How to Automatically Issue Certificates for a Group of People?
Once you have your certificate template ready and a program created, you can move on to automatically issuing certificates for multiple people at once. Remember that to do this, you should have used variables when creating the certificate.
To mass issue certificates, go to the “Credentials” tab (you’ll find it in the navigation menu on the left side of the dashboard). Then select “Issue new credential” and choose the program for which you want to issue certificates.
Adding Certificate Recipient Data
The next, very important step is adding recipient data. You can do this in two ways: manually, by entering the required data, or automatically, by importing a file with recipient data.
Download the Import File Template
Simply click the “Import from file” button in the credentials creator, where you can download a file in .xlsx or .csv formats. This will give you a ready template – it contains fields that need to be filled out for the data to be properly imported.
Fill in Recipient Data
Add information about recipients, such as their first name, last name, and email address, in the appropriate columns. If you need to enter additional data, create new columns and enter the exact variable names in the first row, matching the system configuration.
Tip: Empty fields in variable columns will be ignored by the system.
Upload the File to the System
Save the data file and upload it to the system by clicking the purple “Import from file” button again, but this time click “Choose file.” The system will automatically process the data and display it in the credentials creator.
Sending Certificates
When you add recipients, all entered data will be displayed in the credentials creator. Then you can:
- Check if the document looks as expected before sending it
- Send certificates by clicking “Publish”
With CertifyHub, you’ll automate the certificate issuing process. This not only saves time and minimizes the risk of errors but also quickly honors participants after completing a course or training, which positively impacts their experience. Additionally, certificates can be easily shared on social media, like LinkedIn, giving your brand extra promotion.
